'Y Tŵr' by Gwenlyn Parry
A chance to see an excerpt of one of Gwenlyn Parry's plays. A play commissioned by the National Eisteddfod in 1978, staged during that years Eisteddfod in Cardiff. This play takes us on a journey of life from youth to aged. We follow the lives of man and wife climbing lives tower, aging after every climb of every level. we watch as they grow old together, and see distance and distain grow between them as the climb the tower to the final level.

The dictionaries definition of falling 'descending quickly, fall, tumble, tumble from a a great height with he force of gravity, falling in love'...
In this play we see four people fall in very different ways. Llio, Huw, Arwel and Meirion stand on the ledge of life contemplating the force of falling...or not
This production will also be staged in the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff in November of this year, as part of 3D's new production Angel.
